Produce can be especially dangerous because all too often we just grab and munch.

Students will learn safe selection, handling and preparation tips for the top ten “all-time favorite” fruits and vegetables. They will also learn storage guidelines to keep fruits and vegetables fresh as long as possible. Safety concerns for fruit and vegetable juice as well as dried, frozen and canned fruits and vegetables are also explained.
